Toronto police released photos of two of three suspects involved in a jewelry theft worth thousands of dollars from a store in the east end earlier this week.
Police said the suspects entered a jewelry store in the Balsamg Queen Street East Avenue area shortly after 6 p.m. on April 30.
Once inside, the suspects proceeded to steal jewelry valued at approximately $20,000 and fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to police. Among the suspects are a man, a woman, and a young person.
The man is described as being between 40 and 45 years old with a small beard, and at the time of the theft, he was wearing glasses, a white hat, and a black jacket.
The female suspect is described as being between 40 and 45 years old and was wearing a black cloak, black shoes, and a black hijab at the time.
The third suspect is described as a young person aged between 16 and 19 years, with a large build, wearing a dark hat, a white jacket, and blue jeans, but police have not released his photo.
Police urge anyone with information to contact the investigators.
