The police are urging the public to help identify a group involved in an attack in Liberty Village over the weekend that caused one individual to suffer life-altering injuries.

It happened near Joe Shuster Way and King Street West at about 2:50 AM on Sunday.

The police said that two groups engaged in some sort of verbal altercation, which eventually led to one group assaulting the other.

Multiple injuries were reported as a result, including one individual who was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition.

The police say the group that committed the attack was last seen heading east on King West Street.

Surveillance camera images showing at least five different suspects have been released, and the police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
