A massive ice skating rink is scheduled to open at Nathan Phillips Square next week.
Not only is there direct access to the ski hill, but equipment rental is completely free.
This event is dedicated to first-time ice skiers, to give them the opportunity to try reaching the slopes for the first time, and to ensure that as many Toronto residents as possible have the chance to participate in outdoor winter sports as much as possible.
The Go Skiing Go Snowboarding event is launched in collaboration with the Ontario Snow Resorts Association.
The Go Skiing Go Snowboarding event will be held at Nathan Phillips Square from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, and Thursday, February 29.
