The global star Ryan Reynolds revealed that he convinced global singer Madonna to agree to use the song "Like A Prophet" in the film Deadpool & Wolverine, which will be released tomorrow, Saturday.

In the latest promotional video for the film Deadpool & Wolverine, viewers can enjoy Madonna's song released in 1989 as part of the video, and then Reynolds and director Shawn Levy discussed meeting Madonna and ultimately getting her permission to use the song in Deadpool & Wolverine.

According to a report published on People’s website, Levy said they went to visit Madonna to ask for her permission to use the song in Deadpool & Wolverine. Levy explained, "It involved a personal visit to Madonna, where we showed her the sequence in which the song 'Like a Prophet' would be used."

Reynolds added, "Madonna doesn’t easily give up her songs, especially this one. Asking for that was a big deal, and using it is definitely bigger, which is why we went to her, met her, and showed her how it would be used and where and why."

Levy said he felt like they were "meeting royalty" during the visit, while Reynolds jokingly said he asked one of Madonna's team members how he should address her, explaining, "Am I allowed to just say 'Madonna'? Like 'Hello Madonna, I'm Ryan.'"

Madonna granted them permission to use the song and also offered the Deadpool & Wolverine team some notes on the best way to incorporate the song into the film.

Reynolds added, "She gave a fantastic note and we benefited from it."
