Toronto Police said they are looking for three suspects who entered a luxury car dealership in downtown Toronto over the weekend and left with three high-end vehicles.
Officers responded to a report at a dealership in the area of Dundas Street East and Carroll Street, east of Don Valley Parkway, at 3:40 PM on July 22.
According to police, three suspects entered the dealership and drove off with three luxury vehicles, including a 2021 black Rolls Royce Dawn without a license plate, a 2022 black Bentley Bentayga with an Ontario license plate, and a 2020 white Rolls Royce Cullinan with an Ontario license plate.
The police did not specify exactly how the thieves were able to steal the cars, nor did they provide an estimate of the stolen vehicles' value.
However, the Dawn, a luxury convertible, is listed on car trading sites for approximately $460,000, and the Cullinan, which resembles SUVs, is priced at around $550,000, while the Bentley Bentayga can range from roughly $230,000 to $313,000 depending on the specific model and options.
The vehicles were last seen heading north on Carroll Street, and police have released images of the suspects and are asking anyone with information to contact investigators.
Car theft incidents in the city have increased by 38.5% compared to last year, according to data from Toronto Police, which is a larger jump than any other major crime indicator.
