The Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan discussed, on Saturday, October 28, 2023, with the foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco the latest developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, and ways to intensify joint efforts to stop the military escalation and the forced displacement of Gaza's residents.
According to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA", this came in telephone communications made by the Saudi minister today with Ministers Sameh Shoukry, Ayman Safadi, and Nasser Bourita.
The ministers discussed the serious developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and its vicinity, the continuous suffering of unarmed civilians from the escalation of military operations, and the importance of the international community playing its role in lifting the blockade on Gaza, and that the Israeli occupation complies with international humanitarian law including allowing access to food and relief supplies to Gaza.
They emphasized the necessity of working towards a just and comprehensive political solution to the issue that fulfills the aspirations of the Palestinian people and ensures security and stability for the region and the world.
