The United Nations warned yesterday, Thursday, that nearly half a million people in the Gaza Strip are suffering from "catastrophic levels of hunger."
The United Nations stated in a post on the "X" platform: "Limited access and supplies mean that families often do not receive the food assistance they need."
The post noted that the World Food Programme is still on the ground, but requires reliable access and aid supplies.
Relief organizations reported that after nine months of war and severe destruction in the Gaza Strip, the humanitarian situation among the population has turned into a acute crisis.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today that the death toll from the Israeli bombardment has risen to 38,345 martyrs, along with 88,295 injuries since October 7.
