The occupying army announced today, Friday, October 13, 2023, that it has confirmed the presence of no less than 120 captives inside the Gaza Strip, during a raid by its ground and armored forces in the "past 24 hours."
The statement mentioned, "Over the past 24 hours, army forces carried out localized raids within the territories of the Gaza Strip and efforts were also made to locate the missing."
The chief spokesperson for the Israeli occupying army also stated that infantry forces, supported by tanks, executed "targeted strikes" in the Gaza Strip.
It was noted that the strikes were launched to attack members of Palestinian rocket crews and to seek information about the locations where Hamas is holding hostages.
At least 1300 people have been killed in the occupying state since the start of Hamas's attack last Saturday, including 258 soldiers, according to the latest toll.
In the besieged Gaza Strip, 1799 people have been martyred, including 583 children, as a result of the intensive bombardment by the Zionist entity in response to the operation, according to the Ministry of Health.
