The Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association said on Friday that the number of registered hybrid cars in South Korea increased by 41% during the period from January to April compared to the same period last year, amid a slowdown in electric vehicle sales.
The South Korean news agency Yonhap reported that the association stated that the number of newly registered gasoline hybrid and hybrid vehicles rose to 129,201 units during the first four months of the year, compared to 91,750 cars during the same period last year.
