The Canadian police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision in Montreal.

The Quebec County Police announced the opening of an investigation into a multi-vehicle collision in Montreal this morning, Sunday.

Emergency services were called around 6 AM to Highway 15 southbound at the ramp connecting to Highway 136 eastbound.

Adam Marino, a spokesperson for Quebec Security (SQ), stated that at least one person is fighting for their life.

He added that one of the vehicles involved in the incident may have fled the scene, and the SQ Major Crimes Unit is handling the investigation.

The ramp connecting to Highway 136 eastbound is closed for an indeterminate period.
