The British newspaper The Daily Telegraph published on Tuesday the results of an opinion poll conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies for The Telegraph in 7 critical states for the upcoming U.S. presidential election scheduled for November.
The poll results showed that U.S. Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris is leading in votes over former U.S. President and Republican candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
The results indicated that Harris is expected to win the key states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, which will allocate her 270 electoral votes, qualifying her for victory, as a winning candidate must secure at least 270 electoral votes to win the election.
If things proceed this way, it gives Kamala Harris a narrow victory over the former U.S. President, who the results showed may win only 262 electoral votes, after the poll projected Donald Trump winning Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina.
