The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has urged its citizens to leave Lebanese territory quickly and to avoid areas witnessing armed conflicts.
The Saudi Embassy in Lebanon stated in a statement published today, "The embassy would like to warn its esteemed citizens against being present and approaching areas that are witnessing armed conflicts, and also urges citizens to leave Lebanese territory quickly, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the travel ban for Saudis to Lebanon."
The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Lebanon also called in a statement for Kuwaiti citizens present in Lebanon to exercise caution and to stay away from sites of security disturbances and to comply with instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
It is noted that the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon has been experiencing security tension for several days, with clashes occurring between Palestinian factions in the camp, resulting in casualties and injuries, including an employee of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), according to a statement published by UNRWA last Monday.
