The Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II warned during a phone call he received from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Sunday of the serious repercussions of the escalation between Palestinians and Israelis on the security of the entire region.
The Jordanian monarch emphasized the necessity of intensifying international efforts to stop the escalation in Gaza and its surroundings, stressing that the situation will continue to worsen in the absence of a just solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
King Abdullah II, according to a statement from the royal court, highlighted the importance of continuing coordination between Jordan and Canada to intensify efforts to urge both sides to exercise restraint, protect civilians, and respect international humanitarian law.
