Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned what he described as the "glorification of violence" at pro-Palestine marches across Canada, considering it supporting the Hamas movement, and expressed his unwavering support for Israel.

During his participation in a solidarity rally with Israel in Ottawa, where he met with the Jewish community, he said, "The glorification of death, violence, and terrorism has no place anywhere, especially here in Canada."

He also added, "Hamas terrorists are not resistance fighters, nor are they freedom fighters; they are terrorists. No one in Canada should support them, let alone celebrate them," reiterating Canada's support for Israel and its right to defend itself "according to international law," stating, "We stand with you tonight and tomorrow and every day."

Trudeau also condemned in a separate social media post the demonstrations that took place across the country in "support of Hamas's attack on Israel," writing, "Let us stand against terrorist acts."

As the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation began last Saturday, Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly stated that Canada had advised its citizens in Israel to "shelter in place," noting that 2,500 Canadians had registered with the embassy in Israel and 500 had registered with the mission in the West Bank and Gaza.

It is worth mentioning that the operation has entered its fourth day, with Israel intensifying its airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, expanding the range of targets to include southern Lebanon and near the Egyptian border, while the Al-Qassam Brigades announced an escalation of their operations.
