Rise of Japanese stock indices in the morning trading session

Japanese stock indices rose in the morning trading session at the Tokyo Stock Exchange today, Tuesday.

The Nikkei 225 index, composed of 225 stocks, increased by 193.72 points, or 0.49%, reaching 39540.76 points in the morning session at 11:30 AM local time (02:30 GMT).

The broader TOPIX index also added 9.12 points, or 0.33%, reaching 2737.44 points.
