The Palestinian Authority for Prisoners and Released Prisoners and the Palestinian Prisoner Club announced this evening, Monday, the martyrdom of the administrative detainee Omar Hamza Draghmeh (58 years old) from the city of "Tubas" in the West Bank, in the Israeli occupation prisons.

The Authority and the Prisoner Club confirmed - in a joint statement - that the occupation's narrative regarding the circumstances of the martyrdom of detainee Draghmeh will remain in doubt, especially since he attended his court session today and was in good health according to his lawyer, noting that he has been detained since the ninth of October this month.

Israel has launched a series of extensive arrests in the West Bank since the start of the war between Hamas and Israel on the seventh of October, as Israeli media announced the arrest of about 1000 people from Hamas fighters in response to the operation "Flood of Al-Aqsa." In this regard, the media advisor to the head of the political bureau of Hamas in the Qatari capital, Taher Al-Nounou, said that the figures announced by the occupation regarding the number of detainees or dead are exaggerated, emphasizing that they do not trust what the Israeli occupation declares.

In the same context, Al-Nounou confirmed during a phone intervention for the "Story" program on MBC Masr channel this evening, Monday, that the Palestinians reject any Israeli attempt to displace them from their lands and push them towards Sinai, pointing out that Egypt is for the Egyptians just as Palestine is for the Palestinians only, and they will not be displaced no matter the cost.
