A statement from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs mentioned that Bourita and his counterpart Joly praised, during these talks, the celebration this year of the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and Canada in 1962, a celebration that will be marked by a series of joint events organized to consolidate the trade, human, and educational exchanges between the two countries, especially thanks to the significant Moroccan community residing in Canada.
On this occasion, both parties welcomed the excellent bilateral relations, expressing their desire to elevate the cooperation between the two countries to a rich, strong, and mutually beneficial strategic partnership by exploring the potentials offered by areas of common interest.
