Morocco announces the provision of 100 new scholarships for Palestinian students, including those from the Gaza Strip, to study at universities and higher institutes in various regions of the Kingdom.
Morocco has issued a statement in this regard stating:
King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has given his high instructions to allocate additional scholarships for the benefit of Palestinian students, within the framework of scholarships from the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation.
These scholarships, numbering about one hundred, will benefit Palestinian students originating from the Gaza Strip who are registered at universities and higher institutes in various regions of the Kingdom.
This royal initiative is part of the gracious and continuous care that King Mohammed VI devotes to the just and firm Palestinian cause, and the actual solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people in these difficult circumstances as stated in the statement.
King Mohammed VI ordered that these scholarships be immediately made available to Palestinian students who meet the necessary conditions, in coordination with the Palestinian Authority.
