The second match of the quarter-finals of the 48th edition of the "Copa America" currently taking place in the United States will kick off between the teams of Venezuela and Canada at the "AT&T" stadium, at 4 AM Cairo time next Saturday.
The "Vinotinto" team, led by Salomon Rondón, topped Group B with 9 points from a win against Ecuador in the first round with a score of 2-1, and against Jamaica with three goals.
The players of the Venezuela national team scored 6 goals during the 3 matches that "Vinotinto" played in the group stage of the "Copa America," while conceding only one goal.

On the other hand, Canada qualified for the quarter-finals in its first appearance in the "Copa America," finishing second in Group A with 4 points behind Argentina, which topped the group with 9 points. "Les Rouges" achieved one victory against Peru with a score of 1-0, had a goalless draw against Chile, and lost to Argentina with a score of 2-0, scoring one goal while conceding two.
Historically, Venezuela and Canada have met in two friendly matches in 2007 and 2010, with the first ending in a 2-2 draw at the "José Pachencho Romero" stadium and the second in a 1-1 draw at the "Metropolitano de Mérida" stadium.
