The Palestine Telecommunications Company announced on Sunday a gradual restoration of telephone and internet communications throughout the Gaza Strip, while the Israeli army continues its aggression on the Strip.
The company said in a statement: "We would like to announce the start of the gradual return of telecommunications services (fixed, cellular, and internet) to operate in the central and southern areas of the Gaza Strip, as our crews were able to reach the main fault site and repair it after several attempts in recent days."
Internet services in Gaza have been cut off several times since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Strip on the seventh of last October.
The organization "Human Rights Watch" had previously warned that the interruption of communications and internet in the Gaza Strip may provide cover for mass atrocities.
Also, the official at "Human Rights Watch", Deborah Brown, said, "The disruption of information could serve as cover for mass atrocities and contribute to impunity for violations of human rights."
