Organizers announced that American singer, rapper, and songwriter will perform on the added night in Ottawa which will be added to the lineup on July 9.
Shaboozey will join Jelly Roll for the show.
This will be Jelly Roll's first trip to Canada.
Mark Monahan, the executive and artistic director of Ottawa Bluesfest, said in a statement: “When the opportunity arose to bring Jelly Roll, we jumped on it.” “He has an amazing story, and he is a great performer.”
Ottawa Bluesfest added another day to its lineup to accommodate the performer. The Bluesfest will start on July 4, with performances from July 4 to 7 and from July 9 to 14 at the Canadian War Museum grounds in LeBreton Flats.
The headliners for Bluesfest include Nickelback, Neil Young, Crazy Horse, Maroon 5, 50 Cent, Mötley Crüe, Mother Mother, Zac Brown Band, Tyler Childers, and Nas.
The festival recently announced the addition of British DJ James Kennedy, Canadian singer-songwriter William Prince, and rock band Down With Webster to the lineup.
