The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced a new toll of the number of martyrs in the massacre at the Mawasi area of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Gaza Health stated in a statement that the toll of the horrific massacre by the occupation against citizens and displaced individuals in the Mawasi area in the Khan Younis governorate has risen to 90 martyrs, half of whom are children and women.
It added that the massacre resulted in 300 injuries, including dozens of children and women, clarifying that there are critical and severe injuries.
Egypt had strongly condemned in the strongest terms in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration today, Saturday, the bombing by Israel of the Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, which is filled with displaced people, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of innocent Palestinian civilians.
Egypt demanded that Israel stop underestimating the lives of unarmed civilian citizens and adhere to the humanitarian standards required in compliance with international law and international humanitarian law, emphasizing that these crimes will not become outdated and cannot be accepted under any justification.
It confirmed that these ongoing violations against Palestinian citizens add serious complications to the efforts currently being made to achieve a ceasefire, increasing the humanitarian suffering of Palestinians amid a shameful international silence and inaction.
