Renowned Palestinian journalist Moataz Azaiza decided to leave Gaza after more than 100 days of covering the brutal aggression of the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip.
Moataz left after the Egyptian authorities allowed him to cross through the Rafah land crossing and he headed to Al-Arish International Airport, then to the State of Qatar via a Qatari evacuation plane.
He confirmed in a post he published on social media that he decided to leave for several reasons and will return to help rebuild the sector, "Pray for Gaza!".
Moataz was keen to convey the war of destruction, devastation, and genocide that Palestine, specifically the Gaza Strip, has been experiencing since October 7. He covered the aggression, violations, fire, bombing, reprisals, assassinations, and torture moment by moment, so much so that millions of his followers live with him the daily moments of his life every moment he documents..
Moataz left the sector today, but it is certain that he will not leave the hearts of millions of his followers and all who lived the war with him, whether on the ground or from afar thanks to his continuous coverage... Thank you Moataz and we will never get used to the scene!
