Five people were taken to the hospital after a head-on crash in Oro-Medonte this Saturday afternoon.
According to paramedics, a two-vehicle crash occurred on "Old Barrie Road" and "Line 7 North" after 3 PM.
The accident resulted in two people in critical condition and three others with minor injuries. The cause of the accident is unknown.
The local police also stated that "Old Barrie Road" on Line "7 North" will be closed for several hours until investigations are completed and the accident site is cleaned up.
The police added, "Witnesses to the accident are invited to contact Orillia OPP at 1-888-310-1122."
