The American news channel "CNN" reported that U.S. President Joe Biden is expected to make a final decision soon about sending long-range missiles to Ukraine for the first time.

The channel quoted sources familiar with the relevant discussions as saying that "this is a significant step recommended by the State and Defense Departments, following months of Ukrainian requests," adding that discussions about sending long-range tactical missile systems for the military, also known as ATACMS, have been significantly raised in recent weeks.

Officials also clarified that no final decision has been made yet to send the missiles, but one official familiar with the discussions said that "the likelihood of this happening now is much greater than before."
