Li Hui, the Chinese government's special representative for Eurasian affairs, is scheduled to visit Russia, the headquarters of the European Union, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, and France next week.
Bloomberg News reported today, Wednesday, that Hui's tour is set to begin on Saturday, March 2.
The visit comes to carry out the second round of shuttle diplomatic efforts regarding promoting a political solution to the Ukrainian crisis, according to a statement published on the official website of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
