The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced an investigation to combat discrimination in the additional tariffs imposed by Canada on Chinese electric vehicles and steel and aluminum products. These measures are considered discriminatory under Chinese foreign trade law. This led to a response based on evidence indicating commercial bias against China. The investigation started today, Thursday.
