Sky News network reported today, Sunday, that King Charles III of Britain will not perform his official duties as king for about a month of convalescence until he recovers from a planned surgery.
Sky News network said: "The king will have a period of convalescence, and will not perform his official duties as king for a month until he recovers."
The king was forced to cancel his engagements before the surgery as his doctors urged him to rest.
On Friday morning, Charles III entered a hospital in London, where he underwent a planned surgery due to prostate enlargement, while Buckingham Palace announced that Charles III had arrived at the hospital for surgery.
Buckingham Palace also said last week that Charles (75 years old) will undergo this procedure due to a benign condition common among men over 50 years old.
