Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand confirmed that her country has delivered a second batch of military aid to Ukraine.
The minister posted a tweet on "Twitter" saying: "At this pivotal time for the security of Ukraine, Europe, and the world, Canada is doing its part. We are authorized to deploy up to an additional 460 personnel in Operation REASSURANCE, Canada's mission to support NATO deterrence measures in Europe."
Western countries continue to provide military support to Ukraine. Since 2014, NATO countries, led by the United States, have been supplying Ukraine with weapons and training its army, with the UK, Canada, France, Poland, Turkey, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, and Estonia also participating in weapons deliveries amounting to billions of dollars.
