A young woman recovers after being sexually assaulted in Collingwood. The Ontario Provincial Police said the attack occurred while a woman was on her way home along Minnesota Street north of Hume Street during the night hours on April 22 and 23.
The police say three teenagers approached the woman and she was sexually assaulted repeatedly and then assaulted afterward.
The police said the woman arrived at the hospital with signs of bruises and minor injuries on her body.
There is no description available for the assailants, but the police are asking the public to contact them with any information they may have at 1-705-445-4321. Alternatively, tips can be submitted anonymously using Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
