Belarus: Sudden Death of Foreign Minister

The Belarusian News Agency announced today, Saturday, the death of Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei.

The agency quoted the press secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anatoly Glaz as saying that "Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei has died suddenly."

Makei was scheduled to hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday.
