Two people were killed and 9 others went missing as a result of an explosion that occurred on Friday, March 24, 2023, at a chocolate factory in Pennsylvania in the eastern United States, according to local media.
The local TV station "WFMZ" reported that the incident took place at the "RM Palmer" company factory in West Reading just before five in the afternoon.
Local video footage showed the large explosion at the factory, in the middle of the city, in "horrifying" scenes that spread on social media.
The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency also told the TV that in addition to the two dead and the 9 missing, 6 people were transported to medical centers.
