A wanted suspect has been found in a first-degree murder case related to the death of a 30-year-old man from Toronto, in the United Kingdom.

Toronto police were called to the Isabella and Jarvis streets area in the early hours of May 22 for an unknown problem.

At the scene, officers found a male lying on the ground at the back of a building with clear signs of trauma.

Paramedics rushed the victim to a local trauma center in life-threatening condition. Four days later, on May 26, he died from his injuries.

The police identified the victim as Jesse Tubbs, a 30-year-old from Mississauga.

A Canada-wide warrant was later issued for Adrian Gordon Jr., a 24-year-old from Toronto.

Gordon was located and arrested in Luton, England, on August 19.

He is currently being held by UK authorities pending extradition to Canada, where he will face a charge of first-degree murder.

The Toronto Police Service thanks the RCMP, Interpol, the UK National Crime Agency, and members of the public for their cooperation during this investigation, which was led by the Major Crime Response Team and the Homicide Unit.
