The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia urged citizens today, Sunday, to exercise caution and stay in safe places, avoiding areas prone to flooding, waterlogged areas, and valleys, due to the continued chances of thunderstorm rainfall.
The directorate emphasized in a statement the "importance of adhering to the instructions announced through various media outlets and social media platforms, due to the continued chances of thunderstorm rainfall ranging from moderate to heavy in most regions of the Kingdom starting today, Sunday, until next Thursday."
The National Center of Meteorology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had predicted the continuation of thunderstorm rainfall accompanied by active winds, raising dust, over the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Medina.
