U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken revealed today, Thursday, an anticipated visit to Egypt to discuss the current developments in the Palestinian territories and address the escalation between Israelis and Palestinians, indicating that he is on a tour that will include Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, clarifying that the consultations aim to prevent the continuation of the conflict and the issue of detainees held by Palestinian factions in Gaza.

The Palestinian territories are witnessing a state of general mobilization among various Palestinian factions in response to the ongoing attacks by Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated in a joint statement delivered today (Thursday) with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that "everyone who wants peace and justice must condemn the rule of terrorism exercised by Hamas."

Blinken clarified in his speech that the administration of President Joe Biden stands by Israel and is working to release the hostages held in Gaza.

Blinken added, "We continue to work side by side with Israel to ensure the release of the men, women, children, and elderly who have been kidnapped by Hamas, and we are trying to prevent the spread of the conflict in the region."

According to him, the U.S. government is aware that 25 American citizens were killed in the Hamas attack, and he said, "We join the families in the United States, Israel, and around the world in mourning."
