The Canadian Ministry of Environment expects rainfall of up to 30 mm between Wednesday evening and Friday morning, with possible flooding.
A special weather statement has been issued in Ottawa and the surrounding areas calling for heavy rain.
The Canadian Ministry of Environment says that rainfall is expected to begin late Wednesday evening, April 6, and continue until Friday morning.
The weather agency expects rainfall of 20 to 30 mm by the time the rain gradually decreases, and because the frozen ground may have a low capacity to absorb rainfall, localized flooding is possible in low-lying areas.
