Egyptian archaeology expert Ali Abodashish confirmed that love was widespread during the era of the pharaohs.

Abodashish said, "The ancient Egyptians are considered among the first peoples to express love feelings in ancient times, as many love stories were recorded on papyrus and the walls of tombs and temples, where Hathor was a symbol representing love and affection."

Among the most famous love stories of the pharaohs is the one between Isis and Osiris, where Isis loved her husband Osiris, gathered his body parts after his death, and wept over him. According to the legend, her tears became the Nile River. Also, there is the love story between kings and queens, including King Akhenaten and his wife Nefertiti.

The archaeology expert pointed out that "among the most famous love stories in ancient times is also the love story of the dwarf Seneb and his wife. Although she has a normal body, she accepted marrying a dwarf, and happiness between them is shown through the smile on the statue in the Egyptian Museum representing them."
