Montreal police suppressed a student demonstration at McGill University by using smoke bombs and tear gas.

Pro-Palestinian activists also demonstrated in Vancouver, western Canada, today, Monday, demanding an end to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip that has been ongoing since October 7th.

According to Canadian television, participants in the demonstration that marched through the city's streets raised Palestinian flags in a scene that expresses solidarity and support for the Palestinian people who are facing the Israeli killing machine.

Participants also raised banners condemning the war on Gaza, and others expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people, demanding a boycott of major companies that fund the Israeli army with their profits.

The participants chanted for freedom for Palestine, calling for the opening of the Rafah border crossing, stopping the genocidal war, and allowing food, relief, and medical supplies into the Gaza Strip.
