Demonstrators began gathering in front of the home of Arnon Bar-David, the influential leader of the Histadrut labor union in Israel, calling on him to declare a general strike to demand elections.
The protesters carried signs stating "Enough talk, it’s time for action," according to the "Times of Israel" on Sunday.
Bar-David had mentioned last May that he had lost trust in the government, but he said that timing is crucial for any drastic action to force the government to hold a national vote.
It is noteworthy that earlier on Sunday, demonstrators had gathered in front of the homes of 18 ministers from the coalition and Knesset members, demanding elections as part of the "National Day of Unrest."
The protesters started their demonstrations at 6:29 AM, exactly nine months after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation carried out by Hamas on October 7 of last year.
