Ottawa police are investigating a suspicious package in Sandy Hill, an area containing many embassies and consulates.
There is a police operation in the 1-100 block of Range Road, south of Laurier Street.
The suspicious package was reported at 12:35 PM. Strathcona Park is located on Range Road, alongside the Russian consulate, the Embassy of Burkina Faso, the Embassy of Morocco, the High Commission of Pakistan, and the Embassy of Gabon.
No additional information has been released until the ongoing investigations are complete.
