Montreal Police are investigating a murder. Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie occurred at night in
Montreal Police Service said it received several 911 calls on Saturday at around 12:15 a.m. reporting hearing gunshots near the corner of St-Denis and Bellechasse streets.
When police arrived, they found a 28-year-old man lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to the upper part of his body.
The police also stated that he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No immediate arrests have been made, and the suspects fled before police arrived.
Preliminary information indicates that individuals shot the victim from inside a car.
