The Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement today, Wednesday, that Canada has imposed new sanctions on Iran targeting individuals involved in alleged human rights violations and companies accused of supplying Russia with drones for use in the Ukraine war.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said this is the fifth package of sanctions imposed by Canada on Iran this year, targeting six individuals and two entities.
