The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in an urgent statement today, Thursday, that 447 children and 248 women have been martyred in the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza. The Palestinian Civil Defense reported that the occupation forces are bombing the roads leading to hospitals in Gaza.
This comes as the Palestinian factions continue to defend Gaza with all the resources they have. The Al-Qassam Brigades stated that they targeted Ashdod with rocket fire.
Mahmoud Basil, spokesperson for the Palestinian Civil Defense, said that the Israeli occupation practices a policy of targeting and demolishing homes in Gaza above their owners, and the Civil Defense crews are trying, with their available resources, to retrieve the martyrs and the wounded from under the rubble.
Basil added, in statements to the "Cairo News" channel, that the Civil Defense crews need heavy equipment and machinery to rescue the injured from beneath the ruins of the demolished homes, and we are facing a real catastrophe and massacres of genocide in Gaza if immediate intervention does not take place.
He also indicated that the Israeli occupation army is committing humanitarian crimes in the Gaza Strip and is bombing the roads leading to hospitals in Gaza, hindering the movement of ambulances, and there is no safe area in Gaza.
He explained that the Israeli occupation is using missiles and white phosphorus to bomb all residential neighborhoods in Gaza, and there are a large number of martyrs under the rubble of the demolished homes in Gaza, and many families have been erased from the civil registry.
