The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said today, Tuesday, that the field executions carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank express the behavior of gangs, not a state that claims democracy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added in a press statement that it views field executions and extrajudicial killings with great seriousness, confirming that it will submit reports in this regard to international courts.

It pointed out that these crimes reflect the nature of the instructions and facilitation to open fire on Palestinians given by the political and military level in Israel to the soldiers, amid the brutal massacres committed by the occupation forces, and the extrajudicial mass killing by bombing and starvation as is happening in the Gaza Strip for the 88th consecutive day.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs referred to the crime of executing four young men in the town of Azoun east of Qalqilya, in the northwest of the West Bank, and the opening of an investigation with an Israeli soldier who killed a prisoner in the Gaza Strip, in addition to the killing of 25 citizens who tried to return to the northern sector during the past two days, and the crime of killing detainee Abdul Rahman Al-Bahash in Megiddo prison.

It continued, the number of those arrested by the occupation from the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen by 150%, and those held by the occupation in detention camps mostly secret and some located deep in the Negev desert under mysterious and very bad conditions, where they are isolated away from the press, media, relevant international bodies, and lawyers, and they are subjected to the most heinous forms of killing, torture, abuse, and deprivation of rights.

The ministry demanded real international and American pressure on the Israeli government to stop the crimes of field executions and extrajudicial killings, and also called for the formation of a United Nations investigation committee to follow up on these executions as war crimes and crimes against humanity, and for the International Red Cross teams to visit the secret prisons and review the conditions of those kidnapped from the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the Israeli occupation to announce those prisons and the numbers of detainees in them, their fate and the nature of their lives, and to allow lawyers to visit them.

In a related context, the Palestinian National Council condemned the execution of four young men by the Israeli occupation in the village of Azoun east of Qalqilya, and the assassination of detainee Abdul Rahman Basem Al-Bahash, 23 years old from Nablus, in the Israeli Megiddo prison.

The council stated in a press statement issued by its presidency that the two crimes were committed under the instructions and supervision of the Israeli right-wing government, amid the silence of international institutions concerned with human rights and prisoners of war, as international law has become governed by the balances of power.

The council indicated that this silence granted the occupation legal and political immunity from influential countries headed by the United States, to continue its crimes, killing operations, ethnic cleansing, and displacement in the Palestinian territories.

The council pointed out that the execution of detainee Al-Bahash comes amid reports about cases of field executions, brutal torture, and inhumane conditions to which detainees, especially from the Gaza Strip, are subjected, which were conveyed by testimonies of those recently released from occupation prisons.

The Palestinian National Council confirmed that these assassinations and crimes will not expire with time, are documented by audio and video and eyewitnesses, and that occupation leaders and officers will be legally pursued in all international courts to pay the price for their crimes against detainees and the extermination and ethnic cleansing operations against men, women, and children of the Palestinian people.

Also, the spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, affirmed that the Palestinian people are subjected to a continuous genocide war in the Gaza Strip, where the number of martyrs has reached about 22,000 martyrs and tens of thousands of injured, in addition to the daily killing crimes committed by the occupation army in the West Bank, the latest of which was the martyrdom of four people in the West Bank in the morning, and the martyrdom of a prisoner in the occupation prisons.

He added that the continuation of the barbaric aggression against the Palestinian people and their sanctities, the displacement attempts carried out by the occupation authorities in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the lack of political horizon based on international legitimacy, will destroy the entire region.

Abu Rudeineh pointed out that the conspiracy facing the Palestinian cause is an attempt to liquidate the Palestinian national project, but the Palestinian people have foiled and will foil all conspiracies woven against their rights, sanctities, and national constants which they will not deviate from whatever the cost, and because the conspiracy is now at its peak, the Palestinian people and its leadership are able to confront the challenges and foil all attempts aimed at compromising the independent national decision.

Abu Rudeineh said that the Liberation Organization, the legitimate and sole representative of the Palestinian people, will remain committed to the right to self-determination and to the establishment of the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital with its Islamic and Christian sanctities, and will continue to preserve the national constants that will not be deviated from, which are the red lines for any settlement of the Palestinian issue, whether today, tomorrow, or at any time.

Abu Rudeineh added: "We hold the US administration responsible for obliging Israel to stop this ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people and their land, before it is too late, because the continuous American support encourages the occupation authorities to escalate their aggression and crimes against the Palestinian people."
