Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said in a speech during the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York that Israel is no longer a partner for peace.

Abbas affirmed that they will deal with Israel as an occupying state, pointing out that Israel is an apartheid regime, so why is it not punished for violating international law and who protects it from this punishment?

He stated that the United Nations and those influential within it are the ones protecting Israel from punishment, indicating that Tel Aviv has decided not to be a partner with us in peace and denies international legitimacy decisions.

He called on the international community to hold Israel accountable for the crimes it has committed, stressing that they will turn to the International Criminal Court.

He added, "Although we have demanded that it (Israel) end its occupation and stop its aggressive measures and policies, as well as stop all unilateral actions explicitly mentioned in the Oslo Agreement, and President Biden personally reminded it, it has persisted in entrenching this occupation and these measures and policies, leaving us no other choice but to reconsider the entire relationship with it."

He emphasized that it has become necessary for them to look for other means to obtain their rights, pointing out that the State of Palestine will begin joining other international organizations.

He continued saying: "Thus, it has become our right, and indeed our obligation, to seek other means to obtain our rights and achieve peace based on justice, including implementing the decisions made by our Palestinian leadership bodies, headed by the Palestinian Central Council."

He called on Britain, the United States, and Israel to recognize their responsibility for this great crime committed against our people, apologize, compensate for the damage, and provide reparations to the Palestinian people as recognized by international law.
