Ottawa police are searching for two suspects in a stabbing incident on George Street

Two men were stabbed and sustained minor injuries during an altercation between two groups of people.

 

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is searching for two suspects responsible for a stabbing incident that occurred in the early hours of March 19, 2022.

 

The incident happened around 2:40 a.m. on George Street between Cumberland and Dalhousie Streets.

 

It is reported that a dispute broke out between two groups of people resulting in two men being stabbed. Both individuals who were stabbed suffered minor injuries that are not life-threatening.

 

All those involved fled the scene before the police arrived. The police were later informed about the incident by the stabbing victims after they were transported to the hospital.

 

The first suspect is described as a man in his twenties, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, with dark hair slicked back and shaved sides. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a fur-lined hood, green pants, black shoes, and a patterned shirt.

 

The second suspect is described as another man in his twenties, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black coat, black pants, black shoes, a red hood, and a black hat with a logo.

 

Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who has any information about the incident or has videos related to the event.
