Nissan North America recalls more than 12,000 vehicles

Nissan North America is recalling 12,019 vehicles, according to a recall notice issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration online.

Nissan is recalling the 2024 "Pathfinder" and "Infinity QX60" vehicles, according to Bloomberg News Agency. The seatbelt buckle mechanism on the front left seat may not be properly fastened due to the absence of a retaining rivet.

The automatic tightening of a poorly fastened seatbelt will not keep the passenger in place during an accident, increasing the risk of injury
