New escalation between Hezbollah and Israel as the assassination war ignites

An Israeli drone targeted a car in the al-Housh area of Tyre district in southern Lebanon today, Wednesday, resulting in the death of a Hezbollah leader and injuring his son.

Local and international media reported two injuries.

The Israeli army had previously announced this morning that it targeted infrastructure and a military building belonging to "Hezbollah" in southern Lebanon.

It was reported that there was Israeli artillery shelling on Maroun al-Ras.

The town of Kfar Kila also came under artillery fire around four in the morning and approximately six in the morning.

A Merkava tank targeted a house in the town with a direct shell around seven in the morning.
