Moroccan security was able to arrest 5 people at Fes-Saiss Airport caught smuggling capsules filled with the drug "hashish" inside their intestines, with a total weight of 4 kilograms and 400 grams.
The newspaper "Hespress" explained that "according to what was learned at the Fes Security Directorate, the national security services at Fes-Saiss Airport managed to arrest the suspects while they were preparing to depart on a flight to one of the Spanish cities."
"Hespress" quoted a source as saying that "the suspects were kept under medical supervision at the Hassan II University Hospital in Fes to extract the capsules from their intestines, which ultimately led to the seizure of the mentioned quantity of hashish in the form of 294 capsules."
The source added to the newspaper that "the suspects were placed under judicial control at the disposal of the investigation initiated by the provincial judicial police department in Fes, under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, in order to uncover all the circumstances and details of this case."
