Reports revealed today, Friday, that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, a player for English club Liverpool, will be the focus of interest in the Saudi league during the upcoming summer transfer window in 2024, after Al-Ittihad failed to sign the player during the recently concluded transfer market.

The British newspaper "Mirror" stated that the Saudi dream of signing Mohamed Salah will not stop at this point, and that Al-Ittihad will renew its efforts and reopen negotiations with Liverpool next year.

"Mirror" added that Al-Ittihad will not be the only club looking to sign Salah, and that both Al-Ahli Saudi and Al-Hilal will compete to acquire the Egyptian star in the summer of 2024.

The newspaper indicated that the Saudi side's pursuit of Salah may have temporarily paused at the end of the transfers, but their desire to sign him will not fade, as they hope to contract with a player widely regarded as the most popular in the Middle East, who will become the face of the Saudi league in the coming years.

Liverpool refused to part ways with Mohamed Salah during the recently concluded summer transfer market, and Reds' coach Jurgen Klopp has repeatedly confirmed the player's stay with the team.

The Saudi federation attempted to convince Liverpool to let Salah go for £200 million, but the English club insisted on keeping the player.
